Tumor defects are challenging because they nearly always leave a large tissue volume change which affects function and aesthetics. Remember, tumors are benign, or not cancer. They are not malignant, but they can leave bad defects in their place. These defects almost always require additional bone grafting (growing) after the tumor is removed.
To give this patient his confidence and smile back, I planned for an implant bridge using tissue colored ceramic, and crowns and veneers from Premolar to Premolar. Notice how the right central incisor (as you are looking at it on the screen) was positioned back originally, and was built out forward with a thicker ceramic veneer to give better smile design and symmetry. Precision guided implants and 3D-Printed Prototypes were used to create this patient's result.
