This patient presented after many years of difficulty finding a dentist to treat his wear. His wear involved acid erosion and bruxism, and we completed a full work up and smile prototype which helps determine the aesthetics and function our patient was looking for. This prototype is like the blue print for the patient's plan, and critical in determining the best treatment for a patient.
In this situation, this patient really valued the long term durability of gold on the back teeth. It also allowed us to be more conservative of his tooth amount, and shape the teeth more minimally. It was a genuine pleasure treating this amazing person and bringing his smile, function, and youthfulness back.
